The LC52D92U from Sharp’s fine Aquos line is one of the better LCDs in the market, with more positive points than negative ones. This high-end Aquos is a truly remarkable HDTV, both in its eye-catching styling and hefty price tag.

Design

Sharp Aquos LC52D92USharp TVs never fail to catch attention, and the LC52D92U is, naturally, no exception. A moderately thick frame of two inches - the top and bottom are actually only 1.5 inches but with an off-black rounded strip on each side, measures almost the same as the sides. The glossy finish of the body and the stand, along with the subtle chrome accents on the sides, gives this LCD TV a sleek, sophisticated appeal. The ultra-thin bar with cloth grille that contains the unit’s speaker further heightens the slickness of this LCD.
