Hitachi is one of the most innovative makers of HDTVs and a host of other consumer electronic products. Offering both plasma and LCDs, Hitachi high-definition TVs are known for their high-performing and uniquely styled HDTVs that are available in markets worldwide. Among the latest Hitachi innovations unveiled this year are the Hitachi Ultra Thin series, a set of LCD HDTVs that are merely 1.5 inches thin (around one-third of current thickness of other models), and a line of highly-improved plasma TVS. Falling under the Director’s Series line, the new Hitachi LCDs and plasmas promise great viewing experiences and never before seen features that will surely delight consumers.
The ultra thin Hitachi LCDs are part of the X Series and the Ultra Vision V series. Both the V and X series will have 37-, 42-, and 47-inch models that all sport full 1080p HD resolution for superb handling of multiple media sources, and 120hz refresh rates using the Reel120 technology that ensures clear and life-like pictures and eliminates motion blur and judder. Two 32-inch models also in both V and X series have 1366Ă—768 resolution, and one in each series supports the 120Reel technology (UT32V502, UT32X812) while the other (UT32A302, UT32X802) does not.
The plasma TVs in the Director’s Series are the 50-inch X series (P50X902), V Series (P50V702), S Series (P50S602) and A Series (P50A402 and P50A202) and the 42-inch A Series (P42A202). The X, V, and S series are all full 1080p HD resolution, while the A series natively supports 1024 x 1080i Resolution. a common denominator of these new plasmas from hitachi are UltraBlack Panels from darker black levels, the judder-eliminator PictureMasterTM VI digital video processor, ambient light sensor, anti-refelctive properties, and high-gloss finishes.
Hitachi also produces great LCD projection Tvs, such as the 50″ UltraVision® LCD Projection HDTV (50VS69A). These projection TVs contain cutting-edge technologies, such as the Ultra-Compact 3-Panel LCD Light Engine and Hitachi High Contrast Lens System that offer rich detail, contrast and color rendering. The projection TVs are also powered by the same PictureMasterTM II Video Processor found in new Hitachi HDTVs.
